Ukrainian Witchcraft: Trials and Witch Beliefs

We are happy to invite you to the next in the series of the Ukrainian Culture Seminars happening already this Monday: ✨Ukrainian witchcraft trials and witch beliefs by Dr Kateryna Dysa ✨

👉 On the 30th of January, Dr Dysa will discuss main features of Ukrainian witchcraft trials of the seventeenth and eighteenth century, comparing them to witchcraft trials in broader European context, and to later Ukrainian witch-beliefs recorded by ethnographers of the nineteenth and early twentieth century.

📌 Ukrainian Culture Seminars include 9 meetings held every Monday at 3pm in Linacre College Tannor Room, and it will provide greater insights into certain aspects of Ukrainian history and culture.
