As a Board member I am looking forward to contributing my experience, contacts, and some of my efforts to observe our Society’s key principles which are.
maintaining regular social events – creating as many occasions as possible for us to meet, network, communicate; and cooperating in joint events and activities with similar groups;
(ii) encouraging and inspiring more Ukrainians to apply to Oxford, thus making our Society grow;
(iii) maintaining close cooperation with the University, the Alumni Office and, importantly, with our fellow Ukrainians in Oxford.
I am an Oxford graduate (MJur 2006, St Hugh’s College). I have been actively involved in the Oxford University Ukrainian Society while at Oxford and upon my return to Ukraine I has become a local OUUS representative. I organised a number of alumni events in Ukraine. I am a practicing lawyer in the sector of emerging market investments. Beyond my professional sphere, my interests include classics, squash, and tennis.

As a board member I plan to concentrate my time on the following:
As a co-founder of the idea, I would want to keep developing the initiative called “Oxford Lunch & Business”. We have already organised two meetings within the framework of this initiative, i.e. with Mark Rollins (Ukrnafta) and Daniel Bilak (UkraineInvest and the Chief Investment Advisor to the Prime Minister). For those unaware of the initiative, it aims at fostering communication between the alumni of the University of Oxford in Ukraine and top representatives of private, public sectors and civil society in Ukraine, discussing interesting topics and meeting new people.
As a practicing lawyer, I am also well placed to put in order the OUSU’s internal by-laws and regulations (in the first place being the OUSU’s constitution). In my opinion, the OUSU needs clear rules for its operation and corporate governance.
I plan to take effort to improve the OUSU’s relations with the other Oxford societies (especially in the CEE region). The OUSU needs to capitalise on its unique access to various Oxford alumni societies throughout the globe (and in particular, within the CEE region). 
Originally educated in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, I have obtained an MJur degree from the University of Oxford in 2015 (primarily, funded by the Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford).

While in Oxford, I served as a Secretary of the Oxford University Ukrainian Society, which was helpful in terms of understanding how the national-based societies work. I believe this experience would also be useful for myself forming a part of the new OUSU Board, as it would take me less time to adapt and understand how the OUSU works.
Currently, I am an Associate with Corporate/M&A and International Private Equity Practice Group of the Kyiv office of the Europe’s largest law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang. I regularly advise foreign investors on English law governed M&A transactions in Ukraine and other jurisdictions (including Kazakhstan, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Poland and others); general corporate law matters; joint ventures; and corporate finance.
