Introduction to Ukrainian Art
✨ On the 20th of February (Monday) within the Ukrainian Culture Seminars we are welcoming the lecture "Introduction to Ukrainian Art" by Yuliya Bukus (Master of Arts in Translation, Kyiv Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine”, Member of the OUUS, Copywriter, Journalist).
From the Golden Pectoral to the Ukrainian contemporary art represented biennially in Venice, we invite you to discover the treasures of Ukrainian art from ancient times to modern days.
😃 On the 20th of February, we will reveal the secrets behind the works of art by Ukrainian-born painter Ilya Repin, rediscover the inspirations of Kazimir Malevich, find out who influenced the 20th-century graphic design and became the maker of a Ukrainian brand, and what unites Maria Prymachenko and Frida Kahlo, as well as who was Picasso's friend among Ukrainian artists, and an inventor of the billboard and world-renowned sculptor.
